Eyebrow Correction

Eyebrows should enhance natural beauty—not cause frustration. If previous microblading or tattooing has resulted in uneven, faded, overly dark, or unnatural-looking brows, eyebrow correction can restore balance and harmony. Every correction is fully customized based on skin type, pigment history, and desired outcome, ensuring the most beautiful and natural results possible.
The eyebrow correction process may require more sessions than regular eyebrow microblading because existing pigment, scarring, and skin sensitivity can affect the final result and longevity of the new work. I devote my expertise and utmost effort to deliver exceptional results, but it's essential to understand the potential limitations and expected outcomes when working over existing pigment.
Before Booking: Please send a clear photo of your current eyebrows (email contact@delphineeyebrowcouture.com or text 917-833-2114) and share your desired outcome. Together, we can discuss your specific situation and assess the feasibility of further work on your eyebrows. In some cases, I may refer you to a dermatologist for laser treatments before I can work on your eyebrows.
Eyebrow correction is ideal for those experiencing
-
Uneven or asymmetrical brows from previous treatments
-
Overly dark, harsh, or blocky brows that don’t complement facial features
-
Faded or discolored pigment (red, blue, gray tones)
-
Scarring or patchy healing from past procedures
-
Misshapen or unnatural arches that need refinement
My Approach: Less is More
Unlike other microblading studios, my unique "less is more" philosophy ensures a gradual and safe transformation focusing on:
-
Color correcting unwanted undertones (gray, red, or blue)
-
Softly reshaping and refining asymmetrical or overly bold brows
-
Adjusting density and texture for a natural, realistic appearance
-
Camouflaging old pigment while preserving skin integrity

How long does eyebrow restoration last?My eyebrow restoration uses a semi-permanent technique, so ongoing touch-ups are essential to maintain your desired results. Consistency and commitment to scheduling follow-up appointments are key to ensuring your eyebrows remain beautifully defined and natural-looking. With my renowned approach to achieve a natural look, color pigments will gradually break down over time and the rate of skin cell regeneration will vary for everyone. Factors such as your skin type, lifestyle, skincare routine, and metabolism can affect pigment longevity. Adherence to the aftercare instructions is essential. Touch-ups are recommended every 6 months. Scheduling 18 months after your last appointment is considered a new service and an "Initial Appointment" will be required. To schedule your next appointment, visit our booking page.
-
How many sessions will I need?Achieving the optimal results is a gradual process that requires expertise and patience. My unique "less is more" approach ensures natural, delicate, and timeless results by building pigment slowly over multiple sessions—allowing for adjustments. More pigment can always be added but can’t be removed if it is too dark or bold. Every appointment must be booked separately and is NOT included in the initial price. Your first follow-up session should be scheduled 6–7 weeks after your initial treatment to assess healing and refine the results. Most clients need 3–4 sessions to achieve their desired look. Factors such as skin type, metabolism, healing process, existing hair loss or scarring, and aftercare adherence all play a role in the final outcome. To maintain your look, touch-ups are recommended every 6 months to ensure your brows stay beautifully defined and natural-looking.
-
Does microblading hurt? Most clients report minimal discomfort during the microblading process. A numbing cream is applied during the procedure to ensure you are as comfortable as possible. While some clients may experience slight discomfort or a sensation akin to light scratching during the first two minutes of the procedure, the overall experience is relatively pain-free.
-
Is eyebrow restoration safe?Yes, eyebrow restoration is safe when performed by an experienced and qualified technician who follows proper hygiene protocols. At Delphine Eyebrow Couture, I use only the highest quality pigments, sterile equipment, and adhere to rigorous safety and hygiene standards. To further ensure your safety and the best possible outcomes, all clients are required to complete a thorough medical questionnaire within 48 hours of booking. This form allows me to gather essential information about any allergies, medical conditions, medications, or other factors that might impact the procedure. Providing accurate and complete information is critical, as it allows me to tailor the treatment to your unique needs and avoid any potential complications. By choosing Delphine Eyebrow Couture, you can feel confident knowing your procedure will be both safe and transformative. Your well-being is my top priority, and I am committed to creating a comfortable, secure environment for all my clients. If you have any concerns or questions, I am always here to provide guidance and support before, during, and after your treatment.
-
Is there downtime after the appointment? Thanks to the delicacy and subtlety of my technique, downtime is minimal—you can confidently step out and enjoy your day! Immediately after the appointment, your eyebrows may appear 20-40% darker and more defined but will still look beautifully natural. Mild swelling is normal for some clients and typically subsides within a few hours. Around days 5-10, small scabs may appear, lasting 1-2 days. These effects are all part of the healing process. By following the provided aftercare instructions, you’ll ensure your results settle beautifully without interruption to your daily routine.

What if I've microbladed elsewhere before? If you have had previous work done on your eyebrows, such as laser, microblading, or tattooing, please email contact@delphineeyebrowcouture.com or text 917.833.2114 with a clear photo of your current eyebrows before scheduling an appointment. Let me know what you are hoping to achieve. In certain cases, I will need to refer you to a dermatologist for laser treatments before I can work on your eyebrows. It is important to note that working on previously treated eyebrows usually requires more appointments and the results may not be as long-lasting or perfect as with untouched eyebrows. The presence of existing pigment and scarring can affect the final outcome and the longevity of the new work. Together, we can discuss your specific situation and assess the feasibility of further work on your eyebrows. I devote my expertise and utmost effort to deliver exceptional results, but it's crucial that you have a clear understanding of the potential limitations and expected outcomes. Your satisfaction and safety are my top priorities throughout this journey. Together, we can navigate the process and create beautiful eyebrows you'll love.

What are the requirements?Eyebrow restoration is suitable for most individuals. I feel honored to help clients from diverse backgrounds feel confident and beautiful in their own skin—something everyone deserves. This bespoke service is especially meaningful for those who have experienced hair loss due to aging, cancer treatments, anxiety, trichotillomania, alopecia, thyroid disease, or other medical conditions. Client Requirements To ensure your safety and the best possible results, please review the following criteria before booking: Must be 18 years or older. Not currently pregnant or nursing. Not currently using or have used Accutane within the last 1–2 years. Must wait at least 2 weeks after receiving Botox before undergoing treatment. No broken, irritated, or inflamed skin in the treatment area. Must disclose any medical conditions, medications, or supplements you are taking in your Medical Questionnaire. For optimal results, it is important for me to be aware of any possible adverse reactions or undesirable outcomes. Can eyebrow restoration help my fading or thinning brows?Thinning brows—particularly the loss of the outer third—and fading color are common concerns caused by aging, hormonal changes, and sun exposure. My semi-permanent microblading technique is designed to address these issues, restoring fullness and definition to your brows. With a custom color base tailored to match your natural hair, I use advanced techniques to create incredibly natural-looking results. Many clients have rediscovered their ideal brows and renewed confidence through this transformative process. Let me help you achieve the brows you’ve always wanted!
-
Is it effective for people with very little eyebrow hair?Absolutely! Whether due to hair loss, over-tweezing, or other factors, eyebrow restoration can recreate the look of fuller, natural brows—even if you have little to no eyebrow hair remaining. My microblading approach is uniquely tailored to each client, focusing on creating “imperfectly perfect” eyebrows. Every stroke is thoughtfully placed to replicate the natural direction and texture of real hair, resulting in realistic, beautifully customized brows. By considering your unique brow pattern and facial features, I craft a look that feels authentic and enhances your natural beauty.
-
How should I prepare for my appointment?Proper preparation is essential for achieving the best results from your treatment. Taking these steps will ensure optimal outcomes and also minimize the risk of complications. Please follow these guidelines carefully: No caffeine or alcohol at least 24 hours before your treatment, as this can increase sensitivity and discomfort. No aspirin 48-72 hours before your procedure, as this can increase the risk of bleeding. No retinol creams at least 24 hours before your treatment. No hair removal services within 72 hours of your procedure, as this can cause skin irritation and sensitivity. No heavy sunlight, sunburn or tanning, 72 hours before your procedure, as this can increase sensitivity and affect the healing process. No beauty treatments such as chemical peels, fillers, Botox, and other treatments at least 2 weeks before and after your procedure.
-
What is the aftercare required?Your post-procedure care is just as important as the treatment itself. Proper aftercare is essential for optimal results. Failing to follow these guidelines may compromise the healing process and result in loss or discoloration of pigment. Every person’s skin is unique, which means your healing journey will be too. I am here to guide you through every step of the way, answer any questions, and help you achieve beautifully healed results that enhance your natural look. At the end of your initial appointment, I will go over the detailed aftercare steps with you and provide a handout for reference. By committing to the provided aftercare instructions, we can protect the quality of my work, ensure a smooth healing process, and that you achieve the desired results. The Stages of Eyebrow Healing Day 1: Your eyebrows look amazing! Day 2-10: Eyebrows look too dark, thick, and uneven. Day 11–18: Skin starts flaking off and shape changes. Day 19–24: Up to 70% pigment loss is expected. Day 25–30: Color returns, resulting in a lighter, natural look, though patchiness may occur. Rest assured that this will be addressed at follow-up appointments and the pigments have been carefully selected with this in mind. Aftercare Instructions Apply the provided healing ointment as needed until scabs naturally fall off. Use a clean Q-tip (not fingers). No scratching. Keep eyebrows dry for 2–3 weeks (no water, sweating, saunas). Use a visor in the shower and clean around the brows carefully when washing your face. No direct sunlight (wear hats, sunglasses, and apply SPF often). No makeup on the brow area for 3 weeks. The treated area is an open wound, using makeup may cause infections. No beauty treatments for 4 weeks, such as laser, facials, chemical peels, brow tinting, tanning beds, or any other treatments around the eyebrow area. Sleep on your back for at least 2 weeks after the treatment. Sleeping on your side can cause accidental removal of the eyebrow "tail". Using a travel pillow is recommended. Never use retinol, vitamin C, or acids such as alpha-hydroxy acid, hyaluronic acid, and salicylic acid to prevent pigment fading.
