I received an Eyebrow Microblading treatment at Delphine Eyebrow Couture (Read about my initial visit here) and was initially apprehensive because I did not want something semi-permanent on my face.
Eyebrows are one of the first things people notice about you. I had no need to worry though, because now a month later the result is beyond excellent: my brows look 100% natural and beautiful.
I am fair-skinned and fair-haired, so I was worried that my eyebrows would be too dark and obvious, and I wouldn’t be able to alter them, but Delphine created the precisely right shade for my coloring. They’re dark enough to frame my face properly and they’re perfectly shaped, but they don’t look “done” or weirdly theatrical at all – they look 100% natural, and add a polished layer to my appearance. Also, the process is painless, or at least it was for me. So I would say that the treatment is well worth not having to worry about your eyebrows!
The Parisian setting
Delphine’s studio is so light-filled and elegant that you feel you’re on a Parisian movie set at Central Park East, and she is both lovely and experienced. You’ll be in her expert care as she does what she loves most. She only sees a few clients at a time in order to thorough and thoughtful treatment to the few she is seeing, so you’ll feel pampered and your unique requests and desired results will be honored. There is no rushing through treatments at the Delphine Eyebrow Couture atelier.
The follow-up
About a month to 6 weeks after your initial treatment, you will return for a follow-up session to ensure that all is well and that your brows are exactly as you envisioned them to be. Brows that are too light can be touched up at this second session. Mine were a little on the light side still at the edges, so it was useful to return and have them tweaked a bit.
I would say that a good piece of advice for this procedure is to shower before your treatment, since you will have to avoid getting your brows wet for one week after your treatment and follow-up session. Also, if you sleep on your back, that helps preserve them, too.
I highly recommend Delphine and her eyebrow couture, as she is a consummate professional who knows what she is doing after accruing many years of experience.
